Dear Patient,

Since 2018, the Wokingham Medical Centre and Burma Hills Surgery Partners have provided patients with the Push Doctor video consultation service. This service has not been funded by the NHS but has instead been entirely paid for by the Partners.
Recently Push Doctor informed us that they would be nearly tripling their cost thereby making this service unaffordable. With regret, we have therefore terminated our contract with Push Doctor and the service will cease to be available for our patients from 1st October 2024.

Feedback from the overwhelming majority of our patients is that they prefer face to face appointments, and we are therefore actively recruiting new doctors to join our team as soon as possible. We will then be able to provide more high quality face to face appointments.
